AAIB: Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau. The Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) operates as a branch of the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India, tasked with the investigation of aircraft accidents and incidents occurring within India. The main office is located in Udaan Bhawan, an office structure situated on the grounds of Safdarjung Airport in New Delhi. The head office was previously located in a different area of the airport property.
