Kerala Legislative Assembly 1957 to 2026 Election Date and Results

The Kerala Legislative Assembly, commonly referred to as the Kerala Niyamasabha, serves as the State Assembly for Kerala, which is one of the 28 states in India. This Assembly is composed of 140 elected representatives, with one representative from each of the 140 constituencies located within the boundaries of Kerala, known as Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLA).

Keralam Legislative Assembly Election 2026 date

The Election Commission of India (ECI) has declared the dates for assembly elections in five states. The elections are scheduled to take place in West Bengal, Keralam (previously known as Kerala), Tamil Nadu, Assam, and Puducherry. In Kerala, Assam, and Puducherry, the elections will occur in a single phase on April 9. Tamil Nadu will conduct its voting in a single phase on April 23. In West Bengal, the elections will be conducted in two phases on April 23 and April 29. The counting of votes for all four states and Puducherry will take place on May 04. The terms of these legislative assemblies are set to conclude in May and June.
