Rudrashtakam is a Sanskrit meditation chant that invokes Rudra, Shiva’s epithet. It was written by the Hindu Bhakti poet Tulsidas. Tulsidas produced this mantra in the late fifteenth century in what is now Uttar Pradesh, along with many other literary works, including the epic opus Ramcharitmanas.
